Cade & Roscoe

Here is a little video of Cade taking Roscoe's toy away from him. Cade cracks himself up! Roscoe is very patient and tolerates it for now. Not sure how long that will last!

Merry Christmas!

And Happy New Year! I have not been very good about updating our blog...so I am going to skip Thanksgiving and get right to Christmas! Cade is almost nine months old now. I still can't believe it! We are having so much fun with him and this is by far my most favorite age. He has started saying ma-ma and da-da. He actually said ma-ma first, and I was so excited except now that he can say da-da he doesn't really say ma-ma anymore. Oh well, that's ok. He may not say it but he's definitely a ma-ma's boy! He loves to be held and wants to be close to me whenever he can. He is also a crawling machine. He loves to chase Roscoe around the house! Cade also loves to take Roscoe's toys and dangle them in front of him. Too funny! Other than that, everyone is doing well and we are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

We started with Christmas at our house...My parents came over that morning and we opened presents!
Cade decided to crawl on his toys while they were still in the box!

Auntie Mere!

First snow

Loves his new lion. He can ride on it or walk behind it.

Christmas at Nanny J's house! (Matt's mom)

Cuddling with his cousins...

Reading one of his new books with Uncle Daddy (Matt's twin brother)

Christmas at Pa-Pa and Roo Roo's! (Matt's dad and Step Mom)
So, Cade could not get enough of Chase (one of Cade's cousins. They are only a couple weeks apart in age). Cade would follow Chase around everywhere. We were all cracking up!

Checking him out...

Cade had a death grip on Chase's clothes at all times...

Quinnlan fed him some green beans and sweet potatoes. What a good cousin!

Kensington gave him his bottle. Such good little helpers!

Each year Marvin (Pa-Pa) and Roo (Roo Roo) give the grand kids Christmas pj's. So, after multiple takes, this was the best we could do. As you all know, it was not easy getting everyone to cooperate!

And this was one of the last pictures we took...notice how all the kids are doing their own thing...starting from left to right: Chase has a hold of Kensie's hair and he is starting to cry, Braxton (in the middle) is petting Cade's head, Quinnlan is just sitting there thinking "how much longer till we are done," and it looks like Zayne is staring at the ground. Good times!!
